The Printival is a festival of French songs which takes place in April at Pézenas and honours Boby Lapointe, born in this same town in 1922. All the generosity, humour and imagination of this unusual person are bound up in the spirit of the Printival, started in 2000 by the singer’s own son, Jacky Lapointe, and now directed by his granddaughter Dany Lapointe.

For four days, Molière’s town vibrates to the sounds of the concerts which follow one another with established artistes – Thomas Fersen, Renan Luce, Anne Sylvestre, Hubert-Félix Thiéfaine – and young talent from the new French scene. Entertainments for a young audience, open-air cinema, unconventional exhibitions and activities in the town centre enrich the programme of this “festival of friendship “.
